During the semester, I will be taking a full course load on the ship, which is equipped with 8 classrooms in addition to other amenities like two dining halls, library, fitness center, computer lab, etc. I am taking mostly anthropology classes, to fulfill my requirements for my anth major at GW, but will also be studying ethno-musicology and geography.
My coursework will be enhanced by field work and research in each of the places I will be visiting. You can check out my itinerary to the right. I'm also placing some links there to a virtual tour of my ship, the on-board website, and other sites related to my journey.
